I have been trying lately to focus on forearm stand without using a block. I have found it has become a crutch for me. Without it I fall over quite a bit. BUT on the other hand when using a block I am also certain to get up and balance. Is that choosing the easy way out? Should I be pushing myself more? Or accept where I am? When I posed this question on Instagram I got this lovely reply from a follower, “If the block helps u focus and stay in alignment it’s not a crutch it is a wing for flying.” Such a positive and powerful message, thank you @carsonsg!

Keri’s Product Pick: Breyers Snack Cups

The other day I was doing a little investigative reporting for a journalist who interviewed me for a story on low calorie ice cream. While searching the freezer at my local supermarket I found these snack cups and it was love at first sight.

I feel if someone wants to eat ice cream, they should really eat ice cream. Now, if someone wants to eat ice cream but is also trying to lose weight or maintain their weight, they might not want to eat too much of it. Well hello Breyers Snack Cups.

At ONLY 100 calories they really are the perfect “treat”. You get what you are craving and your portion size is controlled. However, the tricky part is that you must eat ONLY ONE. (P.S. Bart Labiner aka hubby!)

Is Turmeric Actually Good For You?Men’s Health

Seems like every other day a new food is being touted as a “superfood”. Today the soup du jour is turmeric. Starbucks, the forever trend setter, is now featuring turmeric in its lattes available in the U.K. Why does Europe always get to be first? Anyhoo, before you start jumping on this bandwagon read this article to find out if it’s worth it.
