Shared a quote on Instagram last week from a yoga book of mine called The Bhagavad Gita: “On this path no effort is wasted, no gain is ever reversed.” It resonated with me because I feel at the end of the day what really matters is how committed we are to something. When we give up too quickly because of failure we lose sight of where we wanted to go in the first place. Stay on your path, focus on the positive and try and let the other sh*t go!

Here goes: “I told ya so!”. Trust me, I don’t love to say this (Ehhhh, maybe occasionally to hubby!), but I feel this headline might just warrant it. Juice cleanses can be dangerous and I’ve been saying this for awhile. OK, maybe I wasn’t exactly warning anyone about “brain damage”, but I did say there could be some serious side effects. Please take note, you’ve been warned again!

Full disclosure – I have never made cauliflower crust! Well, then again I’ve never made any pizza crust. BUT with today’s cauliflower hoopla it’s hard to avoid it. Thanks to OpenFit we dove deep into the conversation of pizza. Perhaps it is really about changing up your slice whether or not cauliflower is even involved? Hmmm?

A Diet Plan Based on Your DNA Has Arrived – Here’s What You Need to KnowHealth.com

With the popularity of all these DNA tests, i.e. Ancestry, 23andMe, MyHeritage, I am not all surprised that companies are trying to use the results in other ways. Honestly though, this whole area of DNA and diet is still in its infancy; there is SO much more to be researched and learned. All I can say for sure at this point that if any diet plan that incorporates removing entire food groups I would consider it a red flag.
