Let’s be honest – sometimes life is difficult. Even when you expect nothing but joy from something or someone – that joy can actually bring difficulty. At the end of the day, it’s about how you manage expectations, how you react to unexpected outcomes, and ultimately find balance and sanity. OK – I guess candy can really kill some one? LOL. But, and here’s the big BUT, you really need to be eating a whole lot of it, not just one serving, and in this case black licorice because it contains glycyrrhizic acid. Glycyrrhizic is actually known to potentially have an effect on our heart. All I can say is that I am awfully glad hubby’s obsession is with red licorice, not black!
