Saw this old picture recently and it brought me back to a time when I was riding the subway, getting my hair done (and make-up!), grabbing drinks and dining out with friends, etc. – the NYC I know and love! I’d be lying to you if I felt that my old life will be back shortly, because honestly I don’t. AND who knows what that life will even look like when we emerge? BUT what I do know is in the meanwhile I will have my ups and definitely my downs, trying my best to see a shining light at the end of the tunnel!

In this week’s the Keri Report:

  • How To Manage Stress Eating During Quarantine

Can You Eat Expired Yogurt?Women’s Health Magazine

This might seem like a no-brainer! Ewww – of course you can’t eat expired yogurt! But wait, can you????? Remember the expiration date on labels doesn’t necessarily mean that food is no longer safe to eat. It just means in many cases that perhaps the taste and quality might not be as good as prior to the expiration date. SO, instead of being wasteful and quick to throw out read this article to get your facts straight!

10 Ways To Get Some Vitamin D When You’re Stuck Inside – My Domain

Now I can’t speak for everyone here, but as a NYC resident I have been seeing very little of the outside world. (Unless you count sitting on my heating unit staring out the window?) Let’s be honest, it’s hard enough to meet our vitamin D needs to begin with, without limiting outdoor exposure. This article offers some really solid advice.

In the meanwhile, as a side note: I know the weather is getting nicer and we want to spend more time outdoors, BUT please continue to social distance and wear masks where required!!!!!!!
