Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate…..
All I can say is that is has been awfully hot here in NYC, and I’ve probably NOT been drinking enough water. Sure, other fluids along with fruits and veggies help towards hydration, but I’ve probably been a little lax there too!! SO, please take this as a gentle reminder to drink up. We might not be able to control the temps outside, BUT we can control what we do to help combat it!!

I sometimes can’t help but wonder to what extremes an individual will go to lose weight? Obviously as a nutritionist I truly believe losing weight should not be SO hard, and that feeling like you are living with a drill sergeant might not be ideal. Call me crazy??? ALSO, perhaps a diet with the word “hard” in it – should be a clue that maybe it’s best to not even try it!!!
