Yesterday was Earth Day and it really made me think about our planet and climate change. I’ve been recycling for years and I carry a reusable shopping bag with me every day for groceries and misc. stuff; yet know I can do better (much better!). Lately I have stopped drinking from a plastic straw when out and bought paper straws for my home for the first time. BUT I admit for some reason drinking my iced-coffee from Starbucks lately sans straw just hasn’t tasted the same! So NEXT, I plan on buying a reusable, portable straw! #ProblemSolved What small change are you going to make?

Keri’s KitchenSalmon Salad Sandwich

Drum roll please! OK I admit, for many of you, this might not seem like anything new or exciting! BUT for me, life changing! For some reason, I have never taken leftover salmon and used it like I would a can of tuna. I’ve used leftover salmon in pasta (what haven’t I put in pasta?), tossed in a salad, or simply reheated as is, BUT never like this! SO, for those of you looking for another yummy sandwich idea, simply take your leftover salmon, mix with mayo, add some red onion, ground black pepper and put on toasted 100% whole grain bread. Bon Appétit!

How To Eat Healthy Food Every Day, According To Healthy Eaters Huffington Post

Ever wonder what “healthy eaters” do to eat healthy? Well, Huffington Post decided to ask a few, myself included. Funny though, how they just assume a dietitian eats healthy! Anyway, I love some of the tips provided and wanted to share with you.

P.S. Even though I partner with MegaFood this post is NOT sponsored by them; I simply thought the article was worth sharing!
