I have a secret to share! I don’t love to spend time in the kitchen, but I do love to eat healthy. Quite the conundrum, no? SO, given this I really try and create dishes that require little prep, not a lot of pots (hate cleanup), and can be ready to eat in less than 30 minutes. For my above creation I started by sauteing garlic in algae oil and grape tomatoes sliced in half. When the tomatoes were soft, I added baby spinach, frozen peas, Parmesan cheese, some water from the cooking pasta (the starch helps thicken the sauce), a little salt, ground pepper and dry basil. Lastly the raw shrimp joined the pan, needing less than 5 minutes per side or until pink. Separately the bow-tie pasta was cooking and when done tossed it with the sauce. Voila!

P.S. Definitely more pots than I would of liked, BUT so well worth it!

Even though science doesn’t 100% prove that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, I am still holding on to that belief. And what I know to be true, and others will confirm, that a breakfast with adequate protein can definitely set a good tone for the day and keep you full until to lunch!
