SPRING CLEANING – you either love it or hate it! I have to admit I live for it. OR any chance I get to get rid of stuff that is causing clutter in my home. Clothes? Try not to buy new unless I get rid of old! Cupboards? Haven’t used a spice in forever – out it goes!! Magazines? I mean really if you haven’t read it in 6 months it’s really old news. Now I do sympathize with those who have a hard time parting from things. But remember this – “The first step in crafting the life you want is to get rid of everything you don’t.” ~Joshua Becker

Is It Safe To Eat Watermelon Seeds? – Prevention Magazine

I swear every year before Memorial Day I am interviewed on this subject. And the funny thing is every year I research it. I dunno if it’s because I forget the answer, I think maybe the answer has changed, OR I am so used to doing research for an interview that I go into auto-pilot? In any event, read the article in case you also don’t remember the answer! LOL.

Truth is for years I have wanted to be a tea drinker. And after being interviewed for this article, even more so!!! BUT alas, I am team coffee 100%! However, for those of you who drink tea OR on the verge of becoming a tea drinker I strongly suggest you check out this great article by my dear friend, Jackie Newgent, RDN.

If you know me, you know I HATE to be a “Debbie downer” – especially when it comes to food choices. BUT really Starbucks? Do we need another coffee drink that couldn’t be further from a cup of Joe but WAY closer to a dessert???? My answer: I think not!!! Curious what you all think!
