My philosophy in nutrition is quite simple. I donāt believe in good or bad foods, just in foods that are better for you than others, and in those that we should consume more of. Honestly, I believe that all foods can fit into a well balanced diet. It is just learning about that balance that is most important. Deprivation is not part of my vocabulary.

#FlashbackFriday to 2020 yoga days...
As I lay in Savasana this morning, I couldnāt help but think about the parallels between then and now. In 2020, we were masked, anxious, and unsure of what would come next.
Itās 2025, and⦠well, so much feels the same, minus the mask! Anxious and unsure of what will come next in our country!
Back then, @cooper_nyc_vizsla was just a tiny puppy. Now heās just a big puppyāstill crazy and still always by my side!
My yoga practice, post-surgery, is minus many of the bells and whistles, such as arm balances and inversions, but at the end of the day, it is still yoga! I focus more on what I can do, not what I canāt!
The truth is, the more things change, the more they stay the same! May this post be a reminder to stay presentāto live in the now!
